Creating a "Birthday Calendar"

Overview: If you want to create a birthday calendar on your events page, here are some steps on how to make that happen.

Breeze works from a concept of filter, export, and manipulate. With this being said, you can generate a "birthday calendar" by:

  1. First, clicking on the People tab & clicking the "show more filter options" on the left panel

  2. Then, scroll down to the "birthdate" item and click on it.

  3. Assure that the month, day and year boxes have the word "any" selected

  4. Then choose the "export" button on the action panel to the right

  5. When the box appears, you will see the option of Excel, click on the pencil, in the bottom left corner of the box

  6. Then choose the "birthdays" option from the drop-down menu titled Include

  7. Finally, click "Download" to generate your excel file with names, birthdates, and ages from your database

This process should deliver an Excel file that you can manipulate in many different ways. With this information, you can also, create a calendar for birthdates in Breeze. This will be a manual process (adding every birthday as an individual event to the new Breeze calendar). You can get instructions to add a calendar by clicking here.
