Thanks for reaching out to the forum! Unfortunately, printing the Fund ID on a batch report is a Limitation of Breeze. There is no specific functionality built within Breeze to place this number on any reports. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience here!

Thanks for reaching out to us! This information cannot be populated through Breeze as Breeze is not an accounting platform and does not have functionality for Outgoing payments. Breeze calculates and reports incoming contributions only. We suggest using an account platform like Quickbooks alongside Breeze for reconciliation!

    I hope this helps!

Is there a way to make funds inactive?  For example we have certain funds that we'd only need active at a certain time of year (Pastor's Birthday, Capital Campaign, and various special missions funds).  However, when our data entry team is entering they have to sort through a long list of funds that we use, some only temporarily in the year, to put the donation into the right fund category.  I can't find where this is possible to activate/deactivate certain funds.  Can someone let me know if this is possible and point me in the right direction?

Great question! For this we suggest creating an Funds Folder to contain all of those "inactive" funds until you need them! The instructions for creating a Group are listed above. This is the best way to do this in Breeze!

How do we make a fund inactive? I want the data to still be there and know who contributed to it, but the fund-raiser is complete and I want to remove it from the list of funds I see in the contributions.

Great question! Our best suggestion here would be to create a Fund Folder and place all "Unused Funds" in that Folder so that way they are out of view. Additionally, you would want to make sure that this fund has been removed from any online giving tools so that no one accidentally gives to it.

Hopefully this information is helpful to you!

Hi there, I have the same issue with having to scroll through inactive funds. However, when I create a folder, the folder defaults to the top of the drop down where we enter the contributions as well as the top of the funds page. So essentially the data entry person still has to scroll through the funds. It would seem to work better if the folder defaulted to the bottom of the dropdown then the active funds would essentially appear at the top of the dropdown. Are there any other ways to have them not appear?  I have the same question for the Online giving selection. It would be great to be able to select the order we want the giving to appear. For example, when a person is making a donation, we would rather they see Tithe first then Offering then our other giving choices instead of alphabetically where Tithe is the last selection and our donors think that's not an option because it's at the very end due to it starting with the letter T. Offering is our default fund.

    Thanks

    Betty

    Hey @brit1brit,

I do think that this is a great idea and one that I can see us implementing along the same lines in the future. If you wouldn't mind taking a moment and submitting a formal feature request so that our development team is aware that would be greatly appreciated. You can submit a formal feature request here: Submitting Feature Requests

Blessings and thank you for the great ideas!

We would like to create a more detailed description of a fund such as describing how it is used, what the criteria is for a tax deductible contribution.  for instance if the contribution is for a child's camp fee it is not deductible.

We would like to have a text field with 140 characters to ensure the fund received donations as intended.

Great questions here! Since this functionality does not currently exist in threes, this would make a great feature request. In breeze you are able to label each fund as tax-deductible or non-tax-deductible. This normally serves as a great way for you to differentiate between which ones serve what purpose. Take a moment to click here in order to submit your feature request: Submitting Feature Requests

    Cheers!

Is it possible to give an additional staff member access to only 1 fund, such as Student Ministry?

Great question! Unfortunately, it is not possible to only give them access to one fund. Once they have access to funds, they have access to all of them. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.
