Hello Team, Is there an option to attach additional documents to giving statements generated to donors?

Hey there - additional documents cannot be added into the giving statements.  However, if they are links to URLs you could put those links in the giving statement email that goes out.

Edit:  I think I figured it out.  Before going to reports, if I go to Statements and change the template there, it works as I would expect. I can then go to reports to print the statements.  Apparently we cannot successfully change the template from within Reports... which would appear to be a bug.  :/

    Can someone confirm?

I'm finding the templates creation/usage extremely confusing and seem to be constantly overwriting my existing customized templates, when I switch from one template to another.  I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Usually I'm starting from within reports, having filtered all of the people I want to receive a particular statement.  I hit the "statements" button, then the edit pencil.  If it doesn't already have the correct template loaded, I hit "Templates" and choose from the list of templates I have saved.  Nothing happens.  It doesn't load the saved template.  Instead, it overwrites the template I want with the material that was there when I first opened the template.   I.e.  I want to send out Arrears statements.  When I open the template, it's still on "Quarterly Statements."  I click on templates, choose "Arrears" out of the list.  It doesn't load Arrears, it overwrites the Arrears statement with the Quarterly statements template.   It seems to be doing what "replace template" threatens to do in it's warning statement.

    Where am I going wrong?

Is it possible to email both the head of household and the spouse their statements?

    Hi Kimberly!

Yes. It will generate a statement for everyone who has given within the range and send to both HOH and spouse if they have an email listed. If you want them to have separate statements, don't check group by family. Otherwise, it will say both of their names like this: :)

I am new to Breeze and I'm excited to start! The church I work for prefers to give only a total on giving statements. Am I missing it? Is there a way to do this?

    Hi Cynthia!

You can include a total amount by simply:

    1. Bring up the "Print Statements" window
    2. Click the pencil icon in the lower left of the window.
    3. Customize the statement how you desire. Use the "Mail Merge" dropdown to specify person-specific information such as name, amount given, or date range of statement. You would want to select "Total Amount".
    4. Click "Save"

    Happy Breezing!

I want a report that has everyone in breeze, and the total amount they have given, even if they have not given anything.  I would like to be able to sort it by a field I have added, or at least export that to excel so I can sort it by a field I have added.

    Hi Secretary!

Here is a great resource that will help you pull this report and after you can download as excel! :)
