Marking a Follow Up as Complete

Users who have had Follow Ups assigned to them can mark those Follow Ups as completed by either:

  1. Clicking the "Complete" button in the email notification they receive, or
  2. Viewing their list of Follow Ups within "More > Follow Ups > Assigned To Me" and clicking the checkbox in front of the Follow Up

When clicking "Complete" in the email notification, they will have the opportunity to enter a note about that specific followup as well.

  • OK, soooo....we assigned a Follow-Up to a 'Tag' so we could keep record of the action done with them.

The tag had almost 1,000 people in it.

    This created 1,000 individual follow-ups.

It also created 1,000 individual emails to the person assigned.

Luckily, the emails could be deleted in bulk.

Unfortunately, the Follow-Ups cannot be marked 'Complete' in bulk. It is going to take a very long time to take care of this.

I can see there is a way to prevent the emails in the future, by clicking the bell and changing the notification to 1x a week.

It appears there is no way to select a list of Follow-Ups, at once, to mark 'Complete' at one time with the same note for all. Before I request this as a feature request, I am just making sure that is correct. This feature would be helpful even with 20 in a tag vs 1000.

    Hey @andrea!

Thank you for reaching out! Oh no! I am very sorry to hear about this follow-up situation! This is definitely stressful, inconvenient, and frustrating! :(

As it turns out, you are correct, there is currently not a way to bulk complete follow-ups within Breeze. I sincerely apologize for this. I know this is upsetting. As far as workarounds, setting up the notification to receive one email per week is a great idea! Awesome job! I absolutely think you should submit a feature request, as having this feature would be so useful for situations such as this, among others! You can do so here: https://www.breezechms.com/feature-request
