Scheduling an Email to Go Out at a Later Time/Date

By default, emails will send right away to the list of recipients. If desired, you can also schedule an email to be sent at some point in the future. To do so:

  1. Compose your message to an individual or a group as you normally would.
  2. Instead of clicking "Send," click the arrow just to the right of the "Send" button and select one of the available options1 to send the message in the future.


If you'd like to see what's scheduled to be sent in the future, when it's scheduled, or remove a message before it's sent, you can access your scheduled messages within your email history. To access email history:
  1. Navigate to "More > History > Emails."
  2. Select an email to view its details. The details screen will also provide a way to unschedule/remove the message if desired. 

To edit or delete a scheduled email: 

  1. Go to More > History > Choose Email on the left-hand side
  2. Select the Email you would like to delete and click on the subject to bring up the email
  3. Click the arrow next to Change Time
  4. Choose the option you would like: 
    • Change Time
    • Send Now
    • Edit Content
    • Unschedule & Remove
1 All times are in your local timezone as specified within your account's General Settings.

  • I have scheduled a group email to go out to 100 members. I would like to edit the outgoing message before it goes out.  Is there a way to do that for the group?  I understand how to do it for an individual email.

    Great question! The same logic applies to group emails as it does to individual ones. Simply navigate to the email history, click on the scheduled email, click the dropdown next to "Change Time" and click on "Edit Content." Then you're all set! :) 

  • Is there any way to send out an scheduled email at a specific time?  Rather than just on the hour?  I have a meditation scheduled every Wednesday at noon for any member of the church I belong to.

    I send out a reminder, with the zoom link, at 11:50 every Wednesday.  I have to go into my own email and generate this email every Wednesday.


    It would be great if Breeze allowed for scheduled emails to go out at a time we determine not just on the hour.

    Thanks for reaching out! You bring up some great points about what you are trying to accomplish in Breeze.  Unfortunately, that is not a current feature within the email settings. I hope at some point we can increase this ability and setting within email for these very purposes.
