How can I add a link into everyone's profile?


You may want to add a link(s) that every user in your account has access to.  For example, a list of web resources your church uses for ministry, maybe even your church website.  This will require some experience with profile fields and a little bit of HTML coding, but you can do it!



To add a link to everyone's profile:

  1. To do this, you will have to create a new profile field.  Visit this link if you've never created a custom profile field: Customizing Profile Fields.
  2. Within the Profile Field Window, select "Section Description."
  3. Within the Section description, type in a piece of code similar to this. 
    <a href="" target="_blank">Example Website</a> and replace the text that says "" and "Example Website" with your own site and text.
  4. Click Save Changes.
