How can I add a link into everyone's profile?

You may want to add a link(s) that every user in your account has access to, through their profile.  For example, a list of web resources your church uses for ministry, maybe even your church website, or a link to your weekly newsletter.  

  1. Navigate to Account Settings (Image_2020-05-07_at_1.31.50_PM.png), and select Profile Fields.
  2. Drag a Section Description over to where you would like it to appear.
  3. In the Section Description, you will type in a name for this link, and then paste a shareable link.  For better formatting, make sure there are a colon and space between the name of the form and the URL link.
  4. Make sure to "Save Changes"

  • Is there a way to make these training videos bigger and more clear?  They are a little hard to see, not sure if anyone else has this problem.  Thanks

    I totally understand needing to see larger images.  There are a couple options in your browser that you can try.  One would be to use your browser's zoom feature and increase to more than 100%.  The other would be to right click on the image and choose "Open image in new tab".  Both of those options will result in a larger image.

  • I found this article yesterday and was thrilled to discover this solution to a problem we've been trying to solve: We wanted to provide a spot with links to forms that would be available to those who don't have forms privileges. BUT, I also discovered what may be a bug in this function. After the "Section Description" is added to the Profile Fields page and then changes are saved, any subsequent changes to the content of the Section Description don't trigger the page's Save button to become active. I had to delete and re-add the section description to get it to receive changes and save. BUT, when I did that, I had to reset all the role permissions that handle this field (I want it to not be shown when viewing other people's profiles, and only be seen when viewing "My Profile" and even then, only for some Roles. With 9 profiles in our set up, this makes changes to the Section Description VERY cumbersome and for now, not workable in the way I had hoped. Is there a better way to trigger the Profile Fields Save button?
