    Julie,

If we join the beta for automated tasks, what sort of risks are our current data exposed to? It would seem it is nothing too serious: possibly inadvertent emails, tag assignments, and follow-ups, but some verification that core data is safe and risk is minimal to the obvious items would be nice.

    Thanks!

    Good Morning!

Great question. Yes, you've nailed the main risks with beta testing. Regarding core data risk, know that we preform daily back-up of all data and can always do an account restore if the need arises. Hope that gives the assurance you need.

    Good Morning, Beta Testers!

One of our testers found a bug within Automated Tasks:Birthday Emails.

It appears that when birthday emails are triggered, some recipients are receiving duplicate email messages - wishing them happy birthday 2 or 3 times. We are aware of this problem and will post an update here when the fix is deployed.

In the meantime, if you have Birthday Email task activated, please disable to avoid unintended email messages.

    Thank you!

    Exciting News!

Automated Tasks has been launched system-wide.

With your help, we were able to discover and fix the following prior to launch:

    1. Documentation errors
    2. Birthday emails being sent multiple times
    3. New attender follow-ups being triggered incorrectly

Your willingness to test and provide feedback saved churches the frustration of unexpected functioning AND our support staff hundreds of troubleshooting calls.

Heartfelt thanks to you all! You make us better.

It appears it is quite difficult to differentiate between what the various tasks are doing especially "Auto-Tag Form Respondents" Since I am unable to see the filters I am unable to tell at a glance what particular filter this task is applicable to. I had to click on the task and click on a filter to see which filter option I chose. Quite a frustration since I have various "Auto-Tag Form Respondents" task and they all look at the same. Can't we rename the task to whatever we want so we know what it is doing?
