Adding an Admin in Breeze

Log in to Breeze:
Note: You will need the appropriate permissions to add additional users. -
Go to the Settings tab located in the top right corner.

Select Users & Roles from the dropdown menu.

Fill in the necessary details for the new admin, including their name, email, and role.

Assign the appropriate role that grants them the necessary permissions within Breeze.

Managing Users for Breeze Apps Extension
Once a user has been granted access to the Church Apps option in Breeze, their management primarily shifts to Tithely. Here’s how it works:

Linking Breeze to Tithe.ly:
- The Account Owner (AO) must link the church’s Breeze organization to Tithely. This step is typically done when first setting up the Breeze Apps extension.
- Once linked, the AO will have their user set up within Tithe.ly automatically.

First-Time Access for Additional Users:
- After a new user is granted the “Church Apps” option in Breeze, the first time they click on “Apps” in Breeze, a corresponding Tithe.ly user account will be created for them.
- This Tithe.ly account will have the necessary permissions to administer the Breeze App.

Managing User Permissions in Tithe.ly:
- After the initial setup, any changes to the user’s access or permissions related to the Breeze Apps must be managed within Tithely.
- In Breeze, the option to modify their app access permissions will be grayed out, with a tooltip directing admins to manage these settings via Tithe.ly.

Removing Access to the App:
- If an admin needs to revoke a user’s access to the Breeze Apps, this action must be performed in Tithely.
Important Notes:
- Permissions Management: While initial user setup and basic role assignments are done in Breeze, all subsequent app-specific permissions must be managed in Tithely.
- Account Owner Role: The Account Owner has primary control over linking Breeze with Tithe.ly and managing key admin roles.
