Exporting Data from KidCheck
Exporting People
- Within KidCheck, navigate to Reports -> Available Report Library -> Database Export Reports -> Database Export.
- Set your date range.
- Click the Generate Report button.
- Click the Export Dropdown Menu icon (looks like a disk).
- Select Excel.
- Save to your computer.
Exporting Attendance
- Within KidCheck, navigate to Reports -> Available Report Library -> Attendance Reports -> Attendance Report.
- Set your date range.
- Click the Generate Report button.
- Click the Export Dropdown Menu icon (looks like a disk).
- Select Excel.
- Save to your computer.
Notes:
- Copy the field name row from the preview. You may have some "textbox#" headers that need to be updated.
- Use Guardian ID as family ID. The parents do not have a Guardian ID, you have to copy the child's number into it.
- The address info is only populated for the parents.
- IsGuardian - Tells you if the person is a parent (True = parent).
- Row Flow - Parent followed by children (use IsGuardian column).
Importing Data into Breeze
- Sign in to your Breeze Account.
- Click the More tab in the top right.
- Click Tasks from the dropdown.
- Click the category on the left that you'd like to import (e.g. People, Giving, Tags, etc).
- Download and open the template file.
- Remove the sample data and populate the template file by copy/pasting applicable columns from your KidCheck exported file(s). Be sure to keep the first row of the template file intact.
- Save file as a .CSV file type.
- When finished, use the same screen to upload your file to complete the import.
