MaxPro - Export Instructions

We'd love to help your transition from MaxPro into Breeze go as smoothly as possible. If you get stuck along the way, have any questions, or would prefer to have us import your data (at no additional cost), don't hesitate to reach out to our support team.

Exporting Data from MaxPro

Exporting People

  1. Within MaxPro, navigate to People -> Person Roster
    1. Check the box to select everyone (far left column at the top).
    2. Select Export to Excel (far right column at the top).
      1. Click the Export All Fields box (Export Information section).
      2. Click the Export button at the bottom.
  2. Within MaxPro, navigate to People -> Business Roster
    1. Check the box to select everyone (Next to Action column header).
    2. Select Export to Excel (Top row of the table on the right).
      1. Click the Export All Fields box (Export Information section).
      2. Click the Export button at the bottom.

Exporting Givings

  1. Within MaxPro, navigate to People -> Person Roster
    1. Check the box to select everyone (far left column at the top).
    2. Select Export to Excel (far right column at the top). 
      1. Export Information Section: Check "Gifts".
      2. Gift Information Section: Check all fields in this section.
      3. General Information Section: Select ID # (in MaxPro), First Name, and Last Name.
      4. Address Information Section: Select Household ID.
      5. Click the Export button.

Importing Data into Breeze

  1. Sign in to your Breeze Account.
  2. Click the More tab in the top right.
  3. Click Tasks from the dropdown.
  4. Click the category on the left that you'd like to import (e.g. People, Giving, Tags, etc).
  5. Download and open the template file.
  6. Remove the sample data and populate the template file by copy/pasting applicable columns from your MaxPro exported file(s). Be sure to keep the first row of the template file intact.
  7. Save file as a .CSV file type.
  8. When finished, use the same screen to upload your file to complete the import.
