How to Access Breeze through a Web Browser on Mobile
- On your Phone, go to a Web Browser (Safari, Google Chrome), and enter your full breeze url (example: www.churchname.breezechms.com)
- Log in with your Breeze Credentials
You can now access the Breeze platform on your phone, without the app.
If you cannot access an area of Breeze (specifically the Tags) from the Breeze App, and you get a message that says: "You cannot browse this page at "(churchsubdomain).breezechms.com" because it is restricted."
This is likely due to the parental restrictive permissions set on the iPhone. Because the Breeze App is technically a wrapper of the website, the parental settings can cause tags to be restricted based on tag names. This link from Apple's Help Center may help the iOS user experiencing this to correct the issue on their phone: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201304.
Is the app different for iOS and Android users?
The Breeze app offers a consistent experience across both platforms, so you’ll feel right at home on any device.
Can I access all the desktop features in the mobile app?
While the Breeze mobile app is designed to offer convenient access to many of Breeze’s features on the go, there are certain limitations to be aware of compared to the desktop version. The app provides a robust range of functionalities suited for mobile use; however, a desktop browser is recommended for full access to all administrative functions and features.
Current Limitations in the Mobile App:
- Pledges Visibility: Pledges made by individuals do not show in their profile under the 'Giving' section in the mobile app. This detail is only accessible through the desktop version, where you can view and manage all aspects of giving and pledges.
- Advanced Administrative Functions: Some advanced administrative tasks may not be fully accessible or manageable through the mobile app. This includes certain settings adjustments, detailed financial reports, and complex data management tasks that require the more comprehensive interface of the desktop version.
- People Beta Opt In/Out: People Beta can only be opted into or out of by accessing Breeze via a desktop browser, or using Safari or Chrome.
Optimizing Your Experience:
- For daily tasks such as checking in members, updating basic profile information, and managing events, the mobile app provides a streamlined and effective user experience.
- When you need to perform more detailed administrative work, such as managing pledges or accessing complete financial reports, switching to the desktop version will ensure you have all the tools and capabilities at your disposal.
