Identifying Church App Users in Breeze

This article explains how to determine if a Breeze profile is linked to a Church App account. This is useful for managing member access and understanding app engagement.

Viewing Linked Accounts

  1. Go to People. This is where you view and manage all the profiles in your Breeze database.
    Open a member's profile.
  2. Look for the Church App icon. 
    The presence of the icon indicates that the profile is linked to a Church App account. This means the individual can use the app to engage with your church and manage their information.
    The absence of the icon indicates that the profile is not linked to a Church App account. This could mean the person hasn't downloaded the app, created an account, or linked their account to their Breeze profile. 
    Note: Accounts that have both Tithely People and Breeze may not have this icon because the account could be pointing to Tithely People as the data source.

Why is this helpful?

  • Track App Usage: Identify which members are actively using the Church App.
  • Encourage Engagement: Contact members who haven't linked their accounts to encourage them to use the app.
  • Troubleshoot Issues: If a member reports problems with the app, you can quickly check if their profile is properly linked.

New Profiles from Church App Users

When you enable the Church App for your church, new members can create Breeze profiles directly through the app. These profiles will automatically be linked to their Church App accounts, and you'll see the Church App icon next to their names in your Breeze database.

See the setting "Members can create an account from my ChurchApp" below. Note that this setting cannot be disabled after enabling Church Apps.
