When Should I Rollout Breeze to my Members?

There's no one-size-fits-all solution for introducing your congregation to Breeze. Right now, we're encouraging churches to really try to think through what options might work best for them. Questions to ask yourself before introducing Breeze to the congregation might include:

  • How savvy are our members? Are most of them comfortable with being online?
  • Do we have email addresses for members so we can invite them to connect?
  • How much time/energy do we want to put into this process?
  • How quickly do we need to roll out Breeze's features to our members?

Once you know what your timeline looks like and have a grasp on how connected your congregation is ready to be, then the options are really varied.

Option 1: Take a few moments at the start of a service or services and explain what motivated your church to move to Breeze and how that functionality works in the member's favor to manage their own data and have access to the scheduled events, and so forth.

Option 2: If most members have email addresses in the directory, go through and email people with a membership invitation. The steps for doing this are at: Member Access

Option 3: Roll out in stages and allow more savvy members to act as Breeze champions within your Church. Get a few really internet comfortable people online with Breeze and comfortable with the software. Then utilize their ability to talk to other members and encourage other people to be ready for and interested in what Breeze is doing with with your ministry.

I'm sure there are even more options and of course, there is no one-size-fits-all solution for churches. There's absolutely no wrong way of introducing Breeze.
