If a recipient was unsubscribed from your church's emails and wants to start receiving them again, send them to krm.tithely.com/resubscribe.
Step 1: Enter their email address
On the Start receiving emails again page, they'll enter their email address. We'll send a link to confirm they want to resubscribe.
They enter their email address, then click Send me a confirmation link. They will then be brought to a confirmation page pointing the recipient to check their inbox for a link to finish resubscribing.
This only re-enables email delivery to that address — it doesn't change which churches or organizations email them.
Step 2: Follow the prompts in the confirmation email
What happens next depends on whether the address was actually unsubscribed:
If the address was unsubscribed: They'll receive an email asking them to confirm the resubscribe. Clicking Yes, resubscribe me re-enables email delivery to that address across Tithely.
If the address was never blocked: They'll instead get a "Good news — you're not blocked" email. This tells them nothing on our end is stopping delivery, and they should check spam/promotions, confirm the address is correct, or contact their church's Breeze admin about email settings.
Where to share the resubscribe link
- Add it to your website or app so members can opt themselves back in as soon as they realize they've stopped receiving your emails.
- Add it to your email templates — footers are a good spot — so anyone reaching out from an old or previously unsubscribed address can find it and resubscribe on their own.
Can an admin start this on a member's behalf?
It's best for the member to start the resubscribe process themselves. That said, an admin can kick it off by entering the member's email address in the portal.
Per CAN-SPAM requirements, only the member can actually complete the resubscribe — the admin's submission just triggers the confirmation email walking the member through the next step.
