How To Set Up the Brother QL-810W or Brother QL-810WC Printer

WPS Setup Step-by-Step Instructions

1. First, confirm that your wireless router/access point has the WPS symbol, and place the printer close to the wireless router/access point. That symbol will appear like this ()
2. Turn on the printer.
   • Press and hold the [WPS] button for one second.
3. Press the WPS button on your WLAN router/access point.
4. When the connection is established, the Wi-Fi () LED is lit blue or the WLAN () icon appears on the LCD.
5. Connect your mobile device to the wireless router/access point.  (You can skip this step if your device is already connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the printer.)
6. Start the Check In App on your iOS device and enter an Event that has Check In Enabled
7. Check someone in, and when prompted, select the printer from the list.
8. You can now print from the Breeze Check In App.

Software-Based Step by Step Instructions

1. The first step is going to be unpacking your Brother printer and plugging it into your computer via the USB port. (This is how you'll set up the wireless network information for the printer)
2. Visit the Brother download page and download the appropriate installer
3. Double-click the downloaded file.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure the wireless settings between the printer and your wireless router/access point.
5. When selecting the wireless router/access point, make sure you select the SSID that you confirmed previously.
6. Once installation is complete, unplug the Brother printer from your computer
7. Connect your mobile device to the wireless router/access point.  (You can skip this step if your device is already connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the printer.)
8. Start the Check In App on your iOS device and enter an Event that has Check In Enabled
